Which also makes me wonder why your running a 5 spd trans? Looking good, getting close, you guys have a target date to be running/driving yet or just going with 'spring' for that?
Haha I just have too much fun driving the car with the 5 speed. Maybe one day if I take the tags off it and just trailer it to the track I will swap to a auto, but for now I like driving it on the street every now and then. I would like to get back out to the track in April.

I said, "right down the road" but, it's a bit further than that.
I still think it would be worth the trip.

If it would stop snowing for a friggin hour here in PA,
    I might have a chance.lol
More likely in the summer though.

Keep up the good work and,
love how you plug Slowe; His work IS incredible.
(I've seen impressive things from him while searching around)

I think that's paint. And I say that because mine is done the same, assuming Slowe did this cage right?

Re: lengel's TIII Omni GLH progress (used to be spirit r/t)

Trying to do things to better my 60'. So one thing on the list is to replace the stock rubber strut mounts with camber plates. I started off with buying a set of ground control universal camber plates. I don't know how other plates are made, but these are very cool! They have a roller thrust bearing built into the spring hat, it also has a spherical seat on the spring hat that takes the load of the spring, and does not put the load on the spherical bearing. So I end up tossing the ground control top plates and making my own. I also made a plate that mount on top of the strut tower to add a little more support. Here are some pics of the progress.

I really like that setup. I've been wanting to do the Ground Control setup, but the way I planned it doesn't look nearly as clean as yours does.

Very nice Adam! Judging by the pics, it looks like you added some much needed caster. Im curious to see how much caster you will get with those slick plates. I have only been able to get around 2 degrees on 4 dr. L bodies. Keep the progress coming!!

Thanks Brian! I will have a better idea of how much caster i gained once I can measure the distance from ball joint to the top spherical bearing at ride hight. Yes I moved the strut back .75". I should gain a little more then a degree and a half of caster.
