    Camshaft "bearing" journals

Are the slider cam journals the same size as the roller cam journals

    Thanks

Yes they were originally. Look for an "OSJ" (typically stamped on the driver side end of the head but could be elsewhere) which means "over sized journal" refering to the cam.

The difference in the heads is more in the cam caps, the sliders had oil squirters machined in the caps, teh rollers didnt, except 88 which was a transition year, I have seen 88 roller heads with the squirters
