Are 11's possible on a Super60 turbo, 8 valve and no NOS?
Reason I'm asking, I just broke 13's at just under 14 lbs of boost. If I kick things up a notch to say.....22 psi do you think I can hit my target of 11's?

I would say yes it is definitely possible as there are several of us that have run 12's on stock Garrett's behind stock long blocks

Absolutely possible. Plenty of mid 12 second cars on stock turbos as JT said. I've run shake down low boost passes on less than a S60 in the Aries in the 12.2's. I'm sure I can get way into the 11's with it on moderate boost.
For someone who has done it, Jon Genesky ran a S60 in a CSXT to 11.7's.
I'd agree, hell yeah.

my glh is in the mid 11s with a super 60.
What was your trap speed?
60 1.7x
660 7.5x @ 93
1320 ive bested at 11.9 @ 113. averaged between 112.8-114.9 (havent hit the 115 mark!) I have improved since then and should be at 11.5-11.6, but no slip for the 1/4 just 1/8th mile stuff. all at 22 psi.
Jon's car was a 2.2 about I believe it trapped 115ish to get there.
If I had to guess that's about 330 hp wheels / 380 crank HP with a super60
It looks like I'll need about 320 wheel hp to get into the 11's and right now I'm just guessing I'm somewhere around 250- 260 so I'll need 60-70 more HP..... I'm calling my tuner right now, lol.
Just guessing as all setups are different, but is it about 8hp for every 1lb of boost? If so, that will put me at about 22 psi. Does that sound about right?

It is not linear, due to diminishing returns as it gets hotter and flow gets choked somewhere...
FWIW my Shadow went 12.88 @ 104.5 on 19psi stock Garrett 2.25" outlet

My black shadow made 330whp and went 1220s at 116mph. Full interior car. Jons car was a bit stripped if i recall. Although super 60 turbo, it made 285whp 334tq id figure your car and jons are about the same weight. You dont need 300whp to break 11s.....

bring back from the dead.
so you guys think that 115mph trap speed is the limit on a super 60 turbo and about 21-23psi of boost?
Depends on the car's weight. Last fall, I went 115 on way less than 21 psi (maybe 17-18? Don't remember) with the 60trim, which has a smaller inducer than the S60, but it's a light car. In autox mode with the heavy 9" and 10" steel wheels, it weighs 2305 without me in it.
I may have it out at Cecil this fall in my quest to dip the car into the 10's. If so, I'll hammer a couple of runs on just boost and see what I can get out of it.
oh yea. this car is stripped to bare bones except dash, seats and a cage lol. see you have a ported head too right? im running a super 60 turbo right now on 20psi with a stock 2 piece intake and a ported exhaust manifold. +40's and a full 3in exhaust including swingvalve. pretty big intercooler (large npr). i wanna say this head is stock but with a taft stage 2 cam and pt lifters and some beehive springs. i would imagine that a ported head would make a ton of difference. just kinda wondering where the s60 turbo taps out of power.

im not saying ill trap 115. just wondering really what kind of power its good for.
Pat, given your mph and that weight you're roughly 280-310whp. according to online calculators. thats not bad!
You also have to take charge air temp into consideration. A good intercooler is a must with a turbo running at the high end of it's island.
