I really loved these cams, better off idle, midrange and stupid top end, hit the gas in 3rd and hold on when passing on the highway but being I have an auto, spooling a bigger turbo brake torquing was too difficult. These require tuning as they are around 12" of vacuum at idle. Running these to the stockers, the MPG didn't change.

Edit-these have around 10,000 km's on them and I'll include the lash caps.

I had them done, 100% identical to FWD's cams but with the tri flow added.

Just out of curiosity, what do the lash caps look like? I suspect these are to make up for the smaller cam profile, correct?

They sit on the valve stem and take up the clearance due to the smaller base circle. I'll dig them up and snap a pic.

Hmm, maybe I need to get a set of these. Where did you get them? I have all new lifters and my valve train still ticks. Not badly, but enough to drive me nuts. My cams have been reground twice, so i'd imagine that could cause a problem.

My machine shop got them but Jegs, Summit, Ebay. Measure your base circle and compare to a stocker, that's aprox the shim thickness you'll need. I noticed on my updated lifters on the stockers, the metal cap for the swivel is almost flush with the end of the rocker, just a tad out, with the lash caps on the Stage 3's, same place.
