Advice on fuel tank and pump

I have a leak on my gas tank and will be replacing it. I found this one on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-High-Quality-16-Gallon-Gas-Fuel-Tank-/130584569113?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &fits=Make%3ADodge|Model%3ASpirit&vxp=mtr&hash=ite m1e67726519#vi-ilComp
will it work for my 90 Spirit turbo?

Also what fuel pump should I get and if you have a part number that would be great.
I do not push any huge amounts of HP's/PSI but in the future would like to.

    Thanks for the help.

That should work. You can get a 255 fuel pump from either turbosunleashed.com or fwdperformance.com or get the TRE one's on Ebay.

Re: Advice on fuel tank and pump

back in 2000 I bought a internal fuel pump from autozone for my 85 Turbo GLH, looking at the part number E7012 from 85 omni to 90 Spirit, they are the same, can I just use that pump? Do you know what size fuel line I need for supply and return? I should probably replace them while I am down there. I hope like hell the straps come down with little to no problems.

    Supply is 5/16, return is a 1/4.

Yep, you can use your L body pump.

The tank came in today, looks to be a very nice unit and for $50 shipped...even better, picking up the fuel pump tomorrow courtesy of autozone, bought a lifetime pump 10years ago and the sock is warrantied as well. Going to do this pump and take for $50!!

Re: Advice on fuel tank and pump

OK tank came down just fine I was really surprised it came down with no hassle, the worst part was removing the filler neck. Tank is in, new pump, strainer, filter and fuel lines in back and up front. The new tank did not have a pan inside that was the only difference but if your in need of a cheap replacement this is as good as it gets IMO for the price, $50 shipped and at your door in a few days.
