    Description: I am looking for an '89 or later Dodge Daytona with a GOOD, solid, rust-free body that needs minimal work to be made 'close to perfect.' This can be either a 3.0 liter car(preferable) or a turbo car, but it must be an auto car. It DOESN'T have to run necessarily, but if this is a 3.0 car, it must all be there(no missing drivetrain pieces). This will be for my son(first car) and he has it stuck in his head that he wants a Daytona(crazy kid). Since this is a first driver car, I don't want one that has been altered to the moon and is a street/strip terror. Also, don't offer up some rare, high dollar model that you don't want to part with or can't imagine being wrapped around a tree.

    My first choice would be one that has the ground effects package(Iroc, Shelby, etc), but I have to be realistic in this search. Even if you do not personally have one, if you know where one is at and could get me some more information, I would greatly appreciate it. I need it to be within a couple hundred miles of me(Indiana and surrounding states) since this is not going to be some rare, collectible car. I know that being relatively rust free will GREATLY add to the difficulty in acquiring such a beast.     Great choice Nate, I'll keep an eye out for you...I've read about some decent 3rd gens with the 3.0 in the last year or so. That V-6 has won my respect after owning a Duster optioned with one.

    You're technically looking for a 2nd gen v2.0 (new interior, new nose) or version 1.5 (old interior, new nose) and 3rd gen. Or CS which has old nose, new interior. Gawd this is confusing...

    I know of one in new castle its an 87 pacifica t1 log automatic. White with red interior t-tops it dont look bad ill get pics. I can get it cheep

    I have a rust free 93 3.0L auto white manual windows doors needs a real good cleaning and the bottom end of the motor is bad I think. This is one of three of my wifes cars and she just got it this year so I would have to talk to her I have pictures of the underside can send thru email.

    There is a newer nose car with a 2.5 on dayton, OH craigslist also. I think its a N/A car.

    Yeah, but I would at least like a V6 or T1 it will be as anemic as a horse with a broken leg. I don't feel like doing a conversion either really.

    Yeah but it is for a teenager, it should be anemic enough to teach some defensive driving.
