Description: 1988 Dodge Daytona Shelby Z. 100,442 miles. I am the third owner. This car has been in Georgia since 1991. The car runs well but has old gas in it. I confirmed the ignition timing to be at 12* btdc and hooked the wastegate directly to the manifold to keep the boost down until I can put 93 octane in it. I confirmed the fuel pressure at 53-ish psi and it does respond properly to vacuum and pressure. All of the A/C is intact. The A/C does NOT blow cold at this point, but the car has been sitting for a few months. The car has a really decent set of tires on it with newer struts on the front and shocks on the back. The car is stock, right down to the Champion RN12YC spark plugs and air filter housing. It is a factory-intercooled car. It has a 5-speed trans.; it has no grinding during any shift. As you can see it also has an "okay" set of crab wheels on it. A couple of them have light curb rash. The windows operate but are slow to raise once lowered. The interior is complete. It has a new battery, antifreeze, brakes, radiator hoses, oil and filter, and heater control valve. The front windshield is broken and will need a replacement; no repairs on this glass, unfortunately. The body is straight, but there is some light dings around the driver's door handle. The paint is peeling on the top half. The louvres on the back are delaminating or peeling? The car car be driven home no matter where you live. Fly to Atlanta and I will pick you up.....or Chattanooga for that matter. Price is not firm, but would like to get close. I have a clean Georgia title. Thanks, ForceFed. No rust. This is Georgia, LOL. I would be glad to take more pics for you, but it will have to be tomorrow. I am taking the kids trick-or-treating tonight. The car has good T-tops (and the factory bags that hold them when removed from the car, along with the straps that hold them down) and a good cargo cover that says "Daytona" on it. The car has a CD player in it, but it is not hooked up.
