Description: Set of four (4) wheels and four (4) tires, valve stems and four (4) center caps. Just so everyone knows, the center caps for these wheels are anywhere from $100-150 for the set. These are 5x100, which means they will fit Chargers, Daytonas, Spirits, LeBarons, etc., assuming the bolt pattern is 5 lug and not an off-version with a larger bolt pattern. Be sure to check first before you buy as I cannot confirm that all of the above mentioned vehicles came ONLY 5x100. The wheels clear the brakes easily and with my Koni coil overs, I have about .5" of space between the tire and the strut. I know it doesn't sound like much, but the tires are pretty stiff so there isn't a whole lot of flexing with lateral movement when in corners. A full turn to the right will cause the tires to run the tranny, but it MAY be related to the alignment. Regardless, anytime you go beyond stock, typically you'll have some rubbing. I think you'll even have some with stock too.
I've had these on my car for a while and they've held up really well, but I'm going a different route and don't like to keep spare sets of wheels and tires just laying around. The wheels are extremely light-weight and weigh only 15.4 lbs per wheel and about 35-38 lbs total with a tire mounted. The stock 15" aluminum pizza wheels weigh about 20 lbs, maybe 21. I'm pretty sure the 5 spoke Daytona wheel weighs in about 21 lbs, so you're gaining about 5 lbs of weight loss immediately. Dodge Z had some wheels at my house for a bit and I weighed them and I believe the difference was about 10 lbs per wheel and tire compared to these.
I'm running 215/40 17 Toyo Proxes 4, which is a middle of the road tire designed for handling, but used on the street. I got the tires back in January of 2010 and I've put about 30-35K miles on the tires. They hold up REALLY well and the last set I had on there I got almost 50K miles on the Z4 (I think that was the model). Regardless, they are at the end of their life and will need to be swapped soon. The fronts definitely will need tires soon, but the rears still have some life in them. I can get the actual depth in mm if you need it.
In the pictures you can see the curb rash on the wheels. Only one has VERY minimal or no curb rash, but unfortunately one has it on about 65% of the wheel. And I remember this happening, vividly as I came out of the garage parking at the local court house after getting a speeding ticket dismissed. :$ The other 2 wheels have minimal and if you REALLY wanted to fix all of them, you could probably sand these down and repaint the wheels if you were so inclined. But overall they are in really descent shape. I mean I drive the car daily and take corners fast and what not and neither the rims nor tires have let me down.
The only real issue I have is that 2 of the tires have slow leaks, but one is a little quicker than the other. I thought it was the valve stem and took it to the shop to get that fixed, but it still seems to be leaking. I haven't tried fix a flat or anything, but again the tires are sorta at the end of life so I just make sure to put air in them. The one needs air about every 2 days. The other is about every 4 days, but I check them daily and keep them aired up. Yes, I have left the house and the air low, but I can tell immediately the difference in handling and don't get more than about half a mile from the house and then go back to air them up.
Depending on what you want to do, I can dismount the tires and ship just the rims if you like or if you want rims and tires I'll send it all. If you want just the rims, take $100 of the price. I'm going to say $50 additional for shipping and leave it at that. The price is OBO and $50 for sure on shipping. Please ask questions and if you need more pictures just let me know. I'm posting a bunch, but if you need close ups of anything just let me know.
DISCLAIMER: I can tell you all the photos below are comprehensive as to the damage each wheel has. I wasn't THAT diligent on which photos were for which wheel, but I'm pretty sure I have the images match to the wheel I have identified. Regardless, there are photos of each wheel in entirety, so you should easily be able to see all the curb rash, paint chips, paint flakes and marks on the spokes. IF YOU NEED MORE PHOTOS, ASK. I have no problem taking more and I will even go so far as to dismount the wheels and take photos of the back sides and of the tread. PM me for my phone number or email if you want to discuss anything with these wheels and tires.
