1984-1991 DAYTONA & LASER DOOR BELT WEATHER STRIPS (SCRAPERS)

THESE FIT ALL G BODIES FROM 1984-91 EXCEPT T-TOP CARS

THESE ARE NOS AND ARE FROM THE ORIGINAL VENDOR

The measurement along the top edge is just over 42 inches

The only difference from NOS is that they are not in Mopar packages and some of the original ones

had the part numbers (4198670-1 R/L) stamped in the area near the riveted pads,although

the one I had in the original package NOS that I used for comparison did not. None of these were

stamped with the OEM numbers.

These are nice and soft so they were stored somewhere inside.


I am going to sell these in pairs. 140.00 /pair shipped in the lower 48

via FED EX insured and with a piece of wood in the box so it won't get bent.

I will discount multiple pairs as the cost of shipping will be the same.

ONE MORE THING:

The guy who had these ALSO has lots of other unidentified weather strips as he

bought out the original vendor and they weren't identified. I sent him a copy of this weather strip

and he was able to match it up. So if any of you have any good pictures of other Mopar examples

no matter what body styles then forward them to me. I need an accurate description,year and measurements.

For example: 1986 Omni LF door,xxx inches long and a decent photo.

Would you have the window channel rubber/felt for an 87 Daytona? I need both sides.

That is the window RUN. All 1984-91 G bodies are the same. There is a R/L and there is a difference if there is passive or non-passive restraints (seatbelts). So there are 4 part numbers that cover ALL of them. I have one of them. Sent you a PM.

Marty - hope this helps your sale! These weatherstrips WILL work on a T-top car! I replaced the worn out, broken weatherstrips on my '86 Turbo Z with some spare strips I had from a '90 Daytona. All that I had to do was cut out a notch in it (once you remove your old weatherstrips, you can line them up for comparison purposes to see where to cut). But like I said, from my first hand experience, t-top and hardtop Daytona window weatherstrips are interchangable!

good grief. the lengths are NOT the same, these are shorter. you can use these on a t-top if you don't mind the gap, the length changes where they sit and doesn't seal a small portion of the glass. for some, not a big deal.

I'm sure there are exceptions out there, but the t-top scrapers are notched AND longer to account for the door-length window channel since t-top door glass is not framed.

if you want to help martin sell these, tell them to buy 3 and use the third to cut for extensions to close the gaps.

OK I just went out and put a NOS one up against what is left of one on a t-top door I have. The t-top is longer so they will not work unless you staple another section on to it or shorten the door which won't be a good idea.

So for now it is just for a non t-top door.


That is unless there is some other idea out there about how to make them work in a t-top door.
