Taking me forever! A lot of work double wiring is insane. Here is a video current to today http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ic2zMrbm_9A
Maybe I missed it, but if you fabricated the strut turrets/towers by scratch, what gauge sheet metal did you use? If you started with a flat sheet, what all did you use to get the curves? Something that I have not found online is a step by step of how a person fabricated them from scratch. Anywho..... I am impressed with how far you have gone and good luck with your build
Cj I am not sure the thickness it was a work bench top that I cut up. It was a little thicker than factory shock tower sheet metal. I made cardboard copies of front top towers then bent metal around one of my welding bottles being close to the diameter then cardboard copies of front lower parts of towers then but it to the top and tax welded then kept bending it around the top of the tower.
Some updates
Great progress! Looking forward to your next update September of 2017...

I am sooooo looking forward to seeing this completed! I would love to do this to MeanMini. The idea was to have a drivetrain in the back also. Probably won't happen now though...

id even like to see something like this with just the rear engine, hmmm...
VERY nice!! How's the shift and clutch linkage hurdles?
Between you, me and Jackson, we may have a twin engine category at next years sdac
Lol
I was wondering how u were gonna do that as well. For clutch I'm going to do 2 cables on a bais bar so they can be adjusted and should put them in synch with the one pedal. For shifter I'm doing stock front cables. Going to run some tie rods out the back of the shifter that r right hand left hand to adjust. Then they will be attached to anther "shifter base" where a stick set of cables come out to the rear trans. Backwards + backwards = forwards right? The plate will have pull pins on the selector so I can put the rear trans in neutral and run front engine only if need be
Lol I know between not enough money and time I kept having to push out of shop to work on other cars I plan to sell to get me more money for more parts.. but plan to finish this year if nothing goes wrong..
The shifter I haven conquered yet I got cables made and waiting
The clutch I was going to try notching the plastic block in the pedal and make room for another cable.. but what kind of leg pressure would it be pushing two clutches?
I am in need of a double brake caliper brackets from a
Shelby charger or omni you and it has to have the 2 bolt caliper.
One has 1 1\2 the one I need center hole to center hole is 1 3\4
Exhaust and waste gate done.
Intercooler installed and Bov with pipe installed
Doing radiator and hoses tomorrow
The breather isn't going to stay there
This explains why we never see TurboGod around the DFW area anymore...
You've progressed considerably since I've been to your shop kudos..
