Just test fitting it.. have a lot of shee metal work to do but wanted to make sure everything cleared it did... except for the front mount i forgot the factory has a dent in the front core support to give it clearance.. wow exciting!!
Looks good...
And ya... I hear ya on the sheetmetal work.. That is where mine is hung up..
Shifter is easy though.. You Can use stock cables with the addition of a couple rods...
You could just do 2 separate sets and have the actual shifter linked together??
I'd figure on that working out, as long as you had a master adjuster and an adjuster on each cable... you can get it "just so" right now, but come hot weather and a bit of expansion of the metal and it might be out of whack.

Here... About halfway down this page...

But I like this much better

I use 2 triangular quadrants for the cables, red is a wide fine thread nut I weld on which I simply weld a bolt onto the chassis and thread the quadrant onto and thats the pivot - you can't get simpler than that.
I can then use any cable shifter by running the cables from the shifter to one of the green attachment points, then another cable from the other green attachment point to the box and by flipping the cables and quadrants around I can change the cable to push or pull to the box and by changing the distances from the red pivot to the green cable attachments, I can change the throw distance of the shifter to suit me or the box.
If I remember I'll take some pictures.
got the lazer cut mounts made
Laser cut, sweet, now you can mount the motor and center to within 10 thou and only break axles due to driving like a tard.

My 05 SRT4 had about 335 hp to run 12.17...add maybe 1000 lbs and a duplicate drive train it should run 10.63...or, better yet...take old Matchbox at 1910 wet, put in my 335 hp gear and maybe 300lbs for a 11.32...duplicate the drive train and add another 1000 lbs for a super nice and street worthy 9.11...if hook was there.
