    2004 Dodge Neon SRT4 - NFS

    Full Name: Tyler Majka

    Selling Price: $----

    Description:
Hey everyone...Well, the reason I'm putting this up here is just to gauge interest. Basically, I'm paying on the car and paying for full coverage, and in all honesty, I don't drive it. I drove it maybe 4 times in the past month, and I just don't want it to sit.

I love the car, its fun as hell to drive and moves along very well. Its all stock minus a 3" exhaust, 1G BOV, airbox delete, and a bfmic, which were all installed by the previous owner. Also, all the stock vacuum hard lines have been replaced with silicon rubber ones so no leaks happen, and all were installed by a well respected member of the SRT4 community here in PA. Also, I installed semi-solid AGP motor mounts to replace the wasted stockers,

The car runs excellent, shifts like a stock srt4 shifter will, and handles tight as well.

It has 126xxx miles on it, but, you'd never dream it. Car is from Florida and in the true Florida fashion, the underside is clean as can be.

Paint is pretty good considering the mileage and life in FL and cleans up very well. Interior is also immaculate, minus the upper bolsters on the driver's seat wearing through a little.

Car has the infamous P0440 code, which is usually the gas cap, but, I replaced it and it came back on about 1000 miles later. There's a module under the car that could also cause it. But, it doesn't affect the way it runs one bit, just more of an annoyance. Code litterally reads, (very small evap system leak).

I upgraded the stereo to a stock Chrysler head unit (CD/Cass/HD Radio) with a slave 4 CD changer right beneath it in the stock location.

Really isn't too much to say about it, its just a clean, pretty much stock, SRT4. Turbo spools great and has no shaft play and sounds awesome.

But, the fact its mostly stock and not molested to no end really makes it a rare prize and the reason I was all over it to get it when I did.

But...as far as price, I'm looking for $----.

I hate to get rid of her...but...as I said, I don't want to see it sit, and, it would be nice to have some money to finish the Omni and a few other projects I have around here.

If I don't sell it, I surely won't be heartbroken, and will just keep it, but, if someone buys it, that'd be good too...haha.

Email me at strang3majik@live.com or give me a call at 717-688-0284.

Also...I still have the stock taillights and will probably put them back in...but...yeah...Mopar 3D tails are on it right now. Both come with it.

    Here's some pictures.

This picture is old, before I replaced all the vacuum lines and got rid of that little filter. I'll get a more recent one along with some interior shots.

Just took some new pictures today. I redded out the stock tails, removed the spoiler for now, put yellow tint on the fogs, and put on some eyelids.

Lol...I don't think so. The driver's side bolster you accidentally hit every time you get in the car, and the other side...probably just 127k worth of wear...haha.

    Certainly wasn't me though

Lol...I believe its just faded. It was on it when I got it. Its like 15%, pretty dark. But...looks a lot more purple in pictures. Gives it character though

Also...$6800 is the new price and I'm firm on that.

Lol...I was quoted by a guy in Florida that he'd repair it for $50...but, I moved before I had a chance to have it done. And, he did great work and covered my Ram center console/seat...

    But...I'm in PA now :/

    Someone buy it!!!

    Re: 2004 Dodge Neon SRT4

Nope...its wrecked. We'll see what happens with it.

But, for the record, when the back end starts sliding on a FWD, it doesn't respond the way a RWD would, so, countersteering did nothing. So...it slid into a curb. Was only about 10-15 mph, but, with the intercooler/rad support taking all the force down low, it didn't do much good for it.

Here's a pic for reference. If its not totaled, I'll just keep it.

When you took the crash bar off, that weakened the front end significantly. I notice that the hood gaps seem to be off (may be angle of picture and damage to bumper, just trying to give a heads up), so you should make sure your adjuster notes that as the front rails may be tweaked. Sorry to see, I know how helpless sliding is.
