I had that problem before, it's an MP Tuner thing I think. Post this in the MP Tune thread, morris had a way to fix it but I forget what it was. It happens because the addresses are wrong when it creates the table file.

Just started it with your 2.5 mtx stage 4 tune. Didn't touch a thing in the cal. I have a stock turbo with a slightly ported head and hogged out exhaust manifold. +40's 3 bar. Idle is rich. Real rich. 10.9 hot. Cold it was so rich it wanted to flood out. Haven't driven it. But I switched between my tune and your stage and my old v8 stuff on the fourplay and the old v8 stuff seemed to be the leanest and idled the best. Ive sorta fixed the cold start in the v12 code but never got it perfect. Without a d cal code I can't compare the v8 with the rest.

    problem number 1 - using mpt1 vs mpt2!!!
problem number 2 - i need to fix an old error again in the routine that creates the old tbl file. i'll do that tonight and post the new version.

now - why are you using mpt1 again?!

Rob- these are the tables i think mess with running rich when it's cold. The blue one is a run of the mill v12. The light blue is an old v8 2.5 lm cal it ran good when cold. The green is where I adjusted v12 to. It didn't fix it all the way but it was better. There may be other tables that are different too. That's one that I remember. I think the cold enrich table b is different too.

    Re: BoostButton Stage Cals

    You need to learn MPTune

Rob, I have a pretty good base cal for a 3-bar stock 2.2 swirl on 93 oct and 17-18 psi now. If you want I can send you the file so you can look at it. It pulls hard up top, starts good cold and gets 30+ mpg on trips. It needs minor tweaks still here and there (hot start needs either slightly less or more fuel) but overall has been a reliable tune for over a year now. I know you don't have a LM car to test with, so if this would help...

    Re: BoostButton Stage Cals

you might try to dig up the old turbonator v8 cal and compare some cold start and running tables with it. it seemed to run good on that version. everyone that has used the 2.5 lm v12 cal had trouble with running way too rich when cold and idle was way rich. as stated by ffm i know you dont have an lm car to test this on so id be willing to test the 2.5 cals out for you. im not going out and boosting it. but i will test how it idles and cold starts.

Yeah, I looked at it the other night and had a similar thought about that table. That table is how the 2.5 cals look, though. So, I want to check out the code and see what might be different. The base scale could be off or something. I'll post a cal for you to test, Roach. What's your preference for build? 3-bar +40?
