I guess it's time to start a project log since I can add the exhaust in the "ta done" list. I owned this car about 10 years ago, did the basic mods to it and it ran good, sold the car and bought it back about 5 years ago and decided to go all out with it and have some fun. There isn't much stock left in it, boxed up the engine compartment, manual brakes, Forward Motion CNC ported head (stock short block for now until everything is sorted out), modified 2 piece intake with a 65mm Edelbrock 5.0 mustang throttle body, .82 housing turbo with 50 trim, 568 trans with 5/16" morse cables shifting a Mad Dog shifter and will be running an Electromotive TEC3 stand alone system. This is my first time fabricating from scratch and anybody thinking about purchasing a welder, just do it, I wished I did it 20 years ago. Pictures are in my gallery.
The exhaust is 2.5" out of the turbo and flares to 3" before the turn at the bottom of the firewall and the wastegate ties in at the 90, I added a bung for an exhaust gas evacuation hose if I decide to use it.
