May want to post a picture and identify where. racoon's probably right, but there is a hole where a bolt goes where oil can leak from. Either way, get some silicone for the cam cap and maybe some for the bolt for a fix.

Sounds like the core plugs, one of which (the smaller one), plugs the oil galley for the lifters... The larger one goes into the water jacket.

If it is leaking, it may just need to be replaced, but if the "sealing surface" is damaged/gouged, you'll likely have to tap it for a pipe plug, which is a more positive way of sealing that hole off, just kind of tricky when it's on the car due to the possibility of metal chips getting into the engine...

Don't use silcone on the black cam plug, anerobic or dry.

I've used silicone on the cam cap cover numerous times without fail. You just don't want to douse it with it, because it can accidentally plug up oil passages if it gets in the wrong place. I take a dab and use my finger to wipe it on the edge of the cap cover. The cap cover seats REAL tight in it's place, so a mil of silicone just ensures it doesn't leak. Doubtful that is the issue though it the leak is prominent enough.
