I'm still not fully edumacated on what it takes for a csxt (or dodge shadows in general) to be "numbers matching", can anyone school me? I'm thinking that the vin on the dashboard needs to match the vin on the engine and the transmission?
In other words, I want my csxt to be numbers matching, what am I looking for??
I guess it may be different from person to person, but my definition of "numbers matching" would be the VIN on the dash, body, engine, and trans, all matching and being correct.
I agree; do you know where exactly the numbers are located?
This is a good question, I'd like to know as well for my CSx-T.
glhs, I found the numbers, they are between the airbox and the head on the block, just at the side/top of the block where it meets the bottom edge of the head. They're stamped in. I also found the trans numbers on the round plate screwed to the top of the trans directly under the airbox. And also, as I'm sure you know, the tag riveted to the radiator support and the vin on the dash...
