I got these pics sent to me from a friend who was going to turbocharge his Wrangler as well, but he got a good deal on a late model Chevy 5.3L truck motor and the rest, as they say, is history. Looks like a really clean install.

I thought that looked like a GM mani cover hehe I bet thats a fun Jeep
i thought that the 5.3l chevy was a 327? if so why does his jeep say 323 on the side of it
I guess he was off a couple of cubes?Originally Posted by Bardo
If I remember correctly GM no longer uses the old Cubic inch numbers anymore example the 350 is really a 345 but reather than changing life they just kept it as a 350 and so on, I worked for GM when the LS X motors came out and this was just a rumer I may be wrong
Brand X in a MOPAR!
Yeah, everyone knows a mopar with a v8 shouldn't be able to get over 10 mpg...and that thing probably gets over 15!

Yeah.. I did an AC install (Wrangler came from the factory without AC) in a Wrangler with a Chevy 350 in it.. Made ordering the parts for the AC kind of tricky, but worked out great..
