    SrtStang build

I'm new to this forum so I figured I would make my first post be about my car. I am a former Srt4 neon owner. I had a built motor with a Gt35r turbo but could not keep trannys in the car and got tired of it so I pulled the motor and gave the car to JMB performance & powdercoating. After that I decided I wanted to build a rwd powered srt so I took an 89 fox body mustang notch back and put my motor in it with a chevy th350 trans. I will be running a Gt4094r turbo on it now with a custom built twin scroll exhaust mani. I am hoping for around 750hp. Anyways enough about the car how about some pictures.

Thanks guys. No motor has never been dynoed. Should have been around 550hp in the neon looking for 750ish in the mustang. I am running 2 sets of injectors because I'm doing a hot air turbo set up on ethanol.

I sold my 92 GT back in 2004 so I could buy my SRT-4
I've always loved the fox bodies. You have built the perfect car in my eyes!
SRT motor in a nice light coupe = lotsa fun
Forget dyno, I want to see some track times.

Ya I'm hoping for 9's in the 1/4 mile I'm hoping to have the car weight 2500lbs with me in it. I have stripped every last thing out of the car including wiring and I bought a new wiring harness and rewired the car with Just the stuff I need. I am making all my own door panels and dash out of aluminum. I have also made my own lexan windows

    Re: SrtStang build

That's a pretty cool project, but I don't particularly care for the Mustang body. I would have picked an old rx-7, or maybe something like a Fiat. It's way better than anything I could build, so kudos!

The funny thing is, that yer average 'stang owner still seems to think Neons, SRT-4s, and most of our classic TMs have a japanese engine

Idk If mine will be ready or not mine just sits in the shop and gets worked on every once in a while. I told him to take his time and only work on it when it's slow. I told Jim to do all the other jobs that make him money first
