    CLOSED: Rollover valve

Edit: I got the rollover valves that I needed. Thanks to those that responded.

I think I have a bad rollover valve. I need one (or two - might as well get a spare) from the 89 up cars. They are white and have two nipples on top - one is connected to the vent return and the other is open.

    TIA,

Did you try the dealer ? I tried to order one last year and they were backordered at the time but not placed on discontinued status, might have changed for the worse by now though.

How about a filler neck seal where it connects at the tank?

    Re: Rollover valve

I don't need a filler neck seal. I need a rollover valve (or two). I don't think they are available at the dealer anymore and rather than pay the highway robbery rates at the dealer anyway, I'd rather put a few bucks into a fellow TMer's pocket! If the pick-n-pulls weren't two hours and fifty dollars worth of gas away, I'd just go and pull a few. I was hoping that this would be the more expedient way of getting these things so that I can put my car back on the road.

    Re: Rollover valve

I tried the dealer 2 years ago. They said they were going to order and call me when it came in. They never called.

I'd like to know where I could get one too since I broke the nipple off my current one. It's plugging the hole in the tank, but the vent line isn't running anywhere.

    Re: Rollover valve

I have a nice one. $12 shipped, they are about $25 at the dealer if you can still get them. I had to buy one about 2 or 3 years ago after I broke the original on my Laser. The 84 style was NS1 and no stock was available, but the 89 style fits and works the same. These things are a pain to get out without breaking them at the junk yard.
