I'm looking for a complete system. I dont need the jeep or mitsu interfaces, but I will consider anything that's available.
Thanks,

I have a spare DRBII but dont have the Chrysler cable, only have the jeep and mitsu interface/cables with it.
I'm curious what is different between the DRB and the OTC4000? I'm guessing it reads "proprietary" info? If so, what do you get that a OTC won't?
Sorry for jacking, but it's sort of related...

They are the same thing from what i seen from both. Display shows a little different but same info between the 2. For the TM's that is. Idk if one does more than the other for other stuff though.
I bought one off craigslist from a guy in Wisconsin, hopefully he actually shipped it like he said that he did. The biggest thing is the ABS and SRS stuff. I'm not even sure the OTC 4000 ABS '98 cartridge would let me pull the codes from this 90 Imperial, but I know the DRB II will do it. On a side note, I got really pissed today when I went to the local redneck junk yard. When I asked if they had any 90-93 Imperials they told me that they keep any junk that old in the yard. WTF, it's not like I was asking for parts for my Laser.

Now that I have the DRB2 in my hands I can say for sure it is not the same as an OTC 4000. It's the same size, and the rubber protective case from my 4000 Enhanced fits perfectly on it, but the cables are different, and the cartriges are a different size. I have taken a couple of pictures of the cartridges. The DRBII cartridge has a removable cover over the chip in the cartridge. I suspect the reason for this, and the extra contacts on the cartridge was so they could be erased with a UV light and reflashed with updated software.

No i meant they supply the same info for the TM's.
that brake system has always been crap. i've eliminated it on many minivans. be aware there's some lifetime recalls on the system you should check out and see if your problem is related to the recalls.
The drb is much better than the 4000 even though they are similar in size. As a long as it is updated, it will outperform it easily.

A man has got to know his limitations.....
After getting the DRB on the car I found the ABS computer was not responding. I removed the computer from the car and discovered someone had replaced the ABS computer with a transmission computer. It turns out they use the same 60 way connector. Once I get that replaced and working I will check out the master cylinder to see if it's loosing pressure. I also picked up the special pressure testing tool and service manual that the dealerships use to test the parts that are under warranty.
