My brother needs to replace his speed sensor on his Charger. I've read that it's best to use Chrysler parts when it comes to sensors, just not sure if this sensor would qualify? The problem with the local dealer is that they want over $100 for one.
He has a cable/2-wire driven speedo. Are there any newer speedometers that would match that could be swapped in?

I've used the Borg Warner sensors in the past with no issues. They're made to cover many years and models, so don't be surprised when it looks different from your factory one.
Also, do a thorough inspection of the wiring for the sensor. They're exposed to a lot of oil, heat, and road grime. I've had more problems with the wiring than the sensors themselves.
I have a good used OEM. $10 plus shipping and what ever duties are involved.
