What about for an intake manifold, exhaust manifold, turbo, injectors, etc. etc.

Havent decided on the turbo probably an S60, but I am going to weld up a custom manifold and intake. Probably use SRT4 injectors too. Im going to try and keep this as simple as I can.

    yeah well you will
S60 turbo is rather small, you could get a Holset and would be a great setup

I dont want to take the head off cause it has such little mileage, its like taking the engines virginity....
Yeah I know Ill have to get a better gasget.

Im only looking to get 15-18psi out of it. This wont be some 10 second track car. Just something to hassle the local posers with.

But I am 1000% open to sugestions as to what to do. Money is not a HUGE concern.

OK so here is my only suggestion.
Leave the car looking exactly as it does, the uglier the better no polished front mount etc...
You could make enough money to pay it off in a month or so

Your car isn't finished yet...it will take some time and $$$ to get it finished and running.

Don't use the ACR/RT trans. It has a 3.94 final drive ratio... a poor match for a 2.4's power band, let alone a TURBO 2.4. Find a 3.55 ratio 5 speed out of a SOHC Neon.

And if you don't want to take the head off and put some beefy rods and pistons in there... I wouldn't run more than 6-8psi of boost.

you can replace rods and pistons with out taking the head off..

I didnt know which one had the better final drive, i figured it was the ACR since they are the performance oriented neons.

The ACR's have a better final drive if you are sticking with an N/A 2.0 that you have to rev the piss out of and can scream to 7500+. Not if you are buidling a torqey turbo two-fo!
