Need some help selecting an EGT guage.

I'm waiting for my ported exhaust manifold from TU - http://turbosunleashed.com/shop/cust...old-p-285.html.

I'd like to get my egt guage ordered in the meantime. I need to know:

    1. What thread size I need for the probe or if I even need a threaded one....basically what probe will fit?
    2. I'm looking for a cheap but reliable gauge.

I am looking at these 2 for now..

..but I'm definately open to suggestions. Thanks

I use the TE-107 from the following place.....
    http://www.motorsportsinnovations.com/egt.htm
I have been using this in Matchbox for over 5 years with no problems...I also ordered another probe and bring it to the Pit Bull too. Very easy to hook up, see, and use...the $179 is a BIG PLUS too!

i have something similar to the 2c2-1. have had it for ~8 years. works like a champ.

i used the clamp on thermocouples like these.

it will work with any k type thermocouple though.

Speaking of Westach, I do have this currently that is for sale:

It is a combo boost gauge at the top, and EGT at the bottom with a programmable EGT warning led. It comes with a NEW probe, as well, and includes instructions. I think this together is almost $200 new from Westach, and I'd sell it for $100 + shipping if that helps you any.

That's a sweet gauge Steve. I really like their multi gauge deals. I would love to have one of the 4 gauge units.

Thanx man, me likey too! I really don't want to sell it... but I probably won't use it and will sqirm if I was to drill/tap into my new SC6262... probably couldn't do it (right at the flange for the egt is reportedly the best spot per 5digits)
