Crank pulley contacts intermediate shaft sprocket????

Crank pulley contacts intermediate shaft sprocket???? Once the pulley bolts are tightened the crank pulley contacts the inter shaft sprocket and engine won't turn over. It looks like the shaft doesn't quite line up with the cam sprocket, I'll throw a straight edge on it this afternoon.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Guy

It sounds like you have the Intermediate shaft sprocket on backwards. pull it off and flip it 180* so the shaft goes in the other side. It will line up with the cam sprocket and won't interfere with the crank pully then. I made the same mistake.
