Anyone have any experience with these? Wife is looking at one. 88k miles. Loaded. Fwd. My main concern. Timing belt. Anyone every change one?

3.8 uses a chain.
This is a 3.5.
3.5 timing belt was really easy on my intrepid. I imagine it would be just average difficulty in that application since it's transverse.
Dont push the red button. You hear me?
so are they good cars? what goes wrong with them? . i just get that feeling around newer chrysler cars that something is gonna break. its an 04 w/ 88k they want 7k for it. 2wd. 04 imo was a bad time for chrysler.
I think I'm just gonna go drive it. See what I think. There are 2 recalls for it which isn't bad. It seemed like a quality car. It's not for me. It's for the wife.
I dont know of any huge issues with them. The 3.5 is a solid motor and the 604 is a solid trans if you keep it cool.

If it was AWD id be trying to boost it too.

Lol it was a Fwd. Anyway I bought a 02 trailblazer ltz 4x4 loaded! 78k miles. 6800 bux. Has a 4.2 i6. 270hp. it's slow lol. It was just nicer than the PAC. Drove better. Fit and finish seemed better in the tb. Nothing against chrysler. But I don't need a broken down --- car in my driveway like this piece of shyt sentra I have lol.
I like that motor. They're quicker than they FEEL, but you did buy the heaviest one... The lighter 4.2 trailblazers run high 15s bone stock.
