Anyone planning to attend the DSM/EVO Shoot out at Norwalk Summit Motorsports Park on Sunday 8-21.
Mark and I plan to be there with his GLH and the Rampage.

    will be there.

not sure if I'm taking a DSM or one of the turbo dodges. If it will be a dodge I'd drive it down. the DSM will be trailer ed down because just like the rest it will not be running after two days of actual run time.

Was thinking about it; but have to go the other direction instead. John Shepherd is going to be there with the Talon this year. If all goes well, he should be running some low 7's.

Perhaps next year. LOL.. maybe next year the DSM will even be off jackstands to make the trip!

Its definalty worth it if you have a car to run. I think test and tune is like $25. That's cheap!

The new vids on youtube? Yeah, he was having problems.. then found this:

So he was running 8.0 on that messed up turbo... now that it's fixed, should be good for some quicker passes!

Who has the light blue caravan that is there?

Saw a video that was uploaded and there was a blue mini autocrossing...

Haven't seen any new video but imagine a giant blue whale flopping around on dry land. It was a good time and just wish that I had made it back to the drag strip early on Sunday. I was in the "Max effort" class with 9-10 10sec awd drive cars and one lonely minivan.

Took the best run from the autocross and the average of 3 drag passes to get a total time. Lowest was the winner. Well I missed the very first qualifying run thanks to the excellent track officials, so I didn't even bother with the other 2 qualifying runs.

I decided to go late Sunday morning. Very large turn out. Looked forward to see Shepherd's run. First run I saw he got real loose an had to get out of it an ran a 10.0@94. The exhibition run, he broke before 60' mark

Private. Glad to see Shep back so I can be super jealous again. Not really sure whats up with his sequential shifter setup or how much I like that. Definitely no longer a "street car"

Interesting note for some people, he weigh's less then the 8 second hondas. Go traction.

Mark and I walked over to his trailer to check the car out. very nice car by the way. what happened was on the exhibition run he backfired and the pressure blew out the pressure relief disc he has in the intake plenum.

Good to hear, I thought he might have did some major damage. I believe he was running in the 10's with his GT-R.

Yes his GT-R is awesome. it was a fun day, never heard so much turbo spool ever. And I never realized how fast the imports are.

Someone got a few shots of your car, Jay.

I'll ask the guy who took the video if he can set it to public.
