    E-brake cable routing Q

Sitting here right now about to go outside and install all my new ebrake hardware and trying to remember in my mind's eye exactly how the actual cable parts were routed on my Shadow. It's all apart, so not too much to go by. So, I figured I'd see if anyone had a pic handy of their underside before heading outside and trying to figure out/remember what was the exact routing. I'm talking about the actual one into 2 cable part with the threaded rod and the rubber piece that keeps it from slamming the metal underside.

I'm sure I'll figure it out, it's just that it's in a pile right now with everything...

Ah.... I found out the routing. I remember that threaded rod for adjusting the cable tension hooked into the frame rail on the passenger side. (for some reason I was thinking it was on the driver's side.... sucky mammory I have!)

    Is that Brent's '89 Shelby Daytona, or Jackson's '91?

Either way, very nice and the way I wish I could have done mine underneath. Not enough time/money to make it all minty-mint like that, but mine is decent with most of everything re-done minus the uni-body getting re-painted. Someday... but I'll buy my own powdercoating setup if I do it again.

Nuttin' to see after seeing that sexy pic in the posts above! Original red paint and light undercoating overspray with a few bits of surface rust here and there....

I have pix of my rear subframe installation along with the rear axle and complete suspension installed on my project page (posted a week ago)
