    Oil filter=good trans filter?

Well after looking around, I see that summit and others sell remote transmission filters and they use oil filters. So is this going to be good, since I have an oil filter relocation kit and wanted to run stainless braided lines for the trans cooler anyway.

What size should the trans cooler/filter lines be?guessing 3/8or -6an
The B&M cooler and this oil/trans filter I have both have 1/2" NPT

I also have a magnetic inline trans filter but have to buy the fittings(for the cooler) and lines anyway

The remote tranny filter I just installed is a Fram oil filter. I THINK it is a PH1. I used 3/8" cooler hose from goodyear for the install.

Fram or shall I say Allied United supply Daimler Chrysler, Honda, Acura and a few other car manufacturers there OEM filters. So their quality is not all that bad. I will agree it is not the best filter in the world if you cut open and compare filter element to filter element. That is why the mobil one filter is the top dog IMHO.

are you completely sure about that?

Looks like Champion Labs and Purolator make most Chrysler filters, with fram making one particular filter, the Mopar Severe Duty.

I just looked at the Honda filter on my shelf and it says Allied united on it. As for the DC stuff I must admit that Allied was the supplier a few years ago when i was a PM at a DC dealer. I know that Champion supplies me as well (VW,Audi,Seat etc) so they can't be all bad either.

And I think Boogieman142 hates Fram. Just a theory at this point.
