Thread: No brakes

    No brakes

    So i replaced all the brake lines and then went to bleed the brakes and only getting pressure out of the driver front and pass rear need help asap thanks guys

    I think its the metering block that has the low pressure switch, you might need to crack the line at the metering block to get the spring to push it self back in the center.

    Are you talking about the perposhing valve under the master?Which line should i crack?

    Yea, you want to crack and bleed the line coming from the master cylinder going to that block which is feeding the PF and DR.

    Essentially one side of that valve is air bound and not letting anything get to the bleeders so you need to bleed the line that feeds it to overcome that saftey switch spring.

    If that does not work you might need to start by bleeding the master.

    Still got nothing,great pedal but only have driver front and pass rear brakes.

    Guaranteed thats your problem. They can be a major pita to get to work correctly.

    Did you replace the flex hoses? of not you might have a swelled one internally causing the restriction. Or if you made your own lines did you kink it anywhere?

    Maybe try and leave the bleader open on the good corners while pumping the brakes. that will allow the air pressure to push that valve back in the center. obviously you will have to rebleed, but it should be no problem once you have fluid at all four corners.
