I work for Toyota and an es is A camry so il try and help but first Giving me some probs isn't really a problem. What is it doing?
lmao.
Car runs great, but when shifted to reverse(auto)it just jumps out of gear. Will not shift into 3rd or od, and will only shift into 2nd at about 4000 rpm. Fluid is clean and looks and smells new. Car has a O2 sensor code, maf code, cam position sensor code, and a tps code. I can't believe any of this is causing the trans problems.
I could help you if you can give me the code numbers.

The first step in transmission diagnostics is to make sure the engine is in good running condition. Do not overlook the engine problems, you would be surprised at how they will make the trans act. With that many codes, look for something all those things have in common. Maybe a blown fuse?
A majority of engine codes with put the trans in limp mode also on those trans is controlled by engine comp. So it's even more likely. You can try clearing the codes and see if it clears up until the codes return... Also I have never seen a Maf or tps code EVER. They always need o2 sensors and have only seen cam pos codes if the cam timing is out tbelt skip?? Or if it's a sludge motor
I need a U140E transmission. Anybody got one????
