Jeff- Kyle, Parish and Dieselgeek were making plans for hotel rooms in the SCR thread. I'll be able to come for Sunday, maybe Monday and then Friday again. I'm not sure about Tues-Thurs though.

ray, I actually talked to kyle today about it. Im still waiting for josh to make a final call if hes gonna do the whole thing or not. Hes worried about his car making it. I guess i still need a passenger so that may work out to my advantage if he goes but doesnt bring his car. OR you could be my passenger?

I am making plans to go... I am from Indiana. Haven't decided on the hotels yet. Anybody know what the "official" hotels are?

    Re: Hot Rod Drag Week?

Last weekend I installed a light weight steel flywheel (about 6 lbs. 12 oz. lighter) and cleaned up the wiring some.

My regrind cams from Crower arrived yesterday. They should get installed this weekend. Hopefully have some time to drive the car and get the MS fully tuned in. Last night I realized I had not looked at low-rpm (below 3K) WOT points since before I installed the half-header. VE numbers were about 20% low...

I will post more shots of the car this weekend.

I made my reservations before Hot Rod came out with the official list and alternates...

    Re: Hot Rod Drag Week?

I have a full face helmet, but it makes me claustrophobic. So last weekend I ordered an open face helmet. Wednesday I recieved an email saying it was not yet in stock and pointing me to another helmet. I ok'd that only to find out he didn't have one in stock in my size...

He apparently only reads and responds to email once a day, so each round has taken a day! Looks like he is arranging for the helmet to be drop shipped from the manufacturer and _should_ get hear just in time... GRR... What a PAIN...

In good news, installing a high output ignition system cured the lean spike issue created by the new cam! I guess I found the limits of the stock ignition system. Now that I can see the true A/F, I know that several areas are slightly leaner than the target A/F (before they were showing up as rich...)

In the daily driver catagory, do they care if you have the rear seat in the car? Couldn't find anything in the rules that implied they did.
