i sent you a PM. Let me know...
hey i seen i got one thanks man!!
I got some studs from McMaster-Carr and some nuts from Mopar for a DOHC Neon intake manifold and it worked great for me....
yea prob is i couldnt get the studs out
You try the double nut trick?
heat from a torch and a vice grip, it just snapped off flush with the mani. i didnt bother with the double nut cus i knew it was going to be tight so i just went right to heating and vise grip, if that wasnt going to work double nut certainly wouldnt.
Damn. I've never had the double nut trick not work personally. Seems the rest of the country is a lot more corrosive and rusty than here in Wyoming though. Were the studs that broke the original stainless ones?
yea it has worked for me on non-turbo heated manifolds, non rusty and or not so big studs, etc. Even some other turbo mani's havent given me such a problem. But this thing sure did. Kelly tried getting one out of a spare for me today and had no luck either. But luckily found another for me!!!
Hey, your avatar engine shot looks pretty sic! Sorry it took so long getting my manifold off for you. Ended up pulling the head. Blown head gasket is what the gremlin was.
yea much better thanks to you lol. BTW i got your text the other day and i just now remembered about it seeing this post notification. i was at work and forgot all about it till now, as i meant to text you back later that evening. I got one like a day after i talked to you actually. Well bought it and recieved it 2 days later. It came out of CT. I got a good deal on it and jumped. It's on but i am now just getting extra money together to get a downpipe doe locally and parts to adapt my oil return line. And then have my WG bracket welded to the turbo so i can mount that.
