Sounds like the owner doesn't know anything about the car. I would be pretty hesitant to buy a non running project car owned by some who who clearly doesn't know anything about it.

If the motor is good, it's probably worth that just in the engine and some other pieces. I wonder what "cranks" means.... I'd at least check it out if you're in the area.

That is Derek price's old car that he built. Then sold to someone else, then i guess this ad was last month by the second owner and someone by the name of Tim Jackson over at TD.com supposedly bought it making him the 3rd owner.
