TIII alumi head plugs

Rebuilding my lotus head and i want to replace the steel ones that are in there now with the Alumi ones, but FWD is out of stock and TU doesnt carry them.. anybody know where i can get some? or if you have some you want to get rid of?

Also chris from TU thought i could use the Russell Aluminum plugs? does anybody know for sure?!? need some fairly quick.. let me know thanks!

Have you inspected your head for cracks? If so, what type of inspection did you perform & WHERE? It doesn't really matter whether your head had steel or aluminum plugs, both can and do crack. If it had steel plugs and has a lot of miles on it and there are no visual cracks, your chances are better but the only real way to know for sure is to Dye Penetrant Inspect the area between the Center Core Plug and the #3 Spark Plug hole. thanks for the pictures... havent inspected the head yet, i was just gettingthings ready.. where do i find the die at? is it an easy enough process to do it on your own? im sending the head to Lone wolf to get the machine work done..

also what was with the puddy on your valve trian in the other pictures? was it to hold the other parts on??

Its too hold the factory lifters in place, new ones are almost $500,
