    Runs then no power....

    91 Spirit R/T T3
    So I finally had the car running after I found there was no spark due to the ECU connection being loose, and got that taken care of and the car started up with no problems ( it was the first attempt at timing too yay me, lol ).

    No after I lowered the car down off the jack stands the thing acts as if the battery is no even plugged in...
    I've checked and rechecked ground wires. but even still, how does that have anything to do with the car running and not when I lower the car back to the ground!?!?!?

    Also, where does the ground wire thats on the power steering pump go to? lol

    Check all the fusable links, check your battery cable ends(wire inside the terminal), follow battery cables to any connection and check those. Check power at places like the fuse box and computer and tell us where, you get power or slight voltage.

    Triple check battery terminal connections.

    Ground wire at power steering goes to the firewall or anywhere on the chassis you want.

    "Check all fusable links" - Sorry, I am not sure what you mean by that. Go through all fuses and see if theres power running through them?

    Fusable links are heavier wires on the + battery lead that work like fuses - they can burn up or have a bad splice to the rest of the wire.

    Grab the wire harness and jiggle it - leave the key & the radio ON and if you hear static/music you know you've found a bad connection.

    sometimes the wires break just beside the fusable link and sometimes lost power , i had 2 wire doing that ...

    Crazy thought, haven't got an alarm/immobilizer in it have you? Those things have tilt switches for towing... so it might have armed when you put it back down, and cut power...

    Nah, no alarm.
    So the car drove itself out for the first time in almost 2 years today so we could wash it.
    Just builds boost hella slow, and there was some bogging followed by a rubbery noise. Thinking something might be leaning against a belt, but I lost the light so pulled it back inside.
    Think maybe the waste gate might be getting stuck like it was the only time we had it at the track. Boost through 1st and 2nd. But 3rd fell on its face. Then I raced it and pulled the best time... Anyways.

    I didn't actually find the wire harness where the bad connection was, but for sure it was one. Just need to do more digging when I get the chance. I'd just so relieved it runs.
    Now, to do a few more things to it and it, hopefully, can be driven on the road again with out worrys.

    Anyone know of a michigan guy thats good with these cars if I may need help? ( Cause I may... lol )
