Well since the current issue just went out a little over a week ago, it will probably be a month or two. I managed to get out 5 issues (the goal is 5-6 a year) in the last year even though submitted articles were very few and far between. The next issue is due in December, but if they do one before then it will be a bonus.

Lost track of membership and let it lapse...just renewed!
In the meantime, if the location is already picked, the sooner it's released the better. I for one have a business trip that lands on the same week as SDAC every year. If SDAC travel is doable from a location standpoint, the more time I have to make alternative plans for the business trip the better. Meaning...the sooner I know where SDAC is, the more likely it is I'll be able to go. :-)

It's never been a secret, except we've liked to let our members know before the public. And sometimes it is necessary to go a little into the planning stages prior to releasing the place. After all if something else came up for the normal date and we had to change, we might change location rather than date. Not announcing until we absolutely sure is just the proper way to do business.
All that said, it may be possible, if you sweet talk JT enough, that he will open a thread in the SDAC Members Only forum, and spill the beans there. But that is entirely up to him.
