We received our last sample this week. Everything looked good except the overflow port which was angled incorrectly. We sent them the pictures and they will be correcting that in the production versions.

Because it was just a sample packaging was minimal compared to production versions and some damage occured where the lower hose connects to the radiator. This unit will be repaired and probably installed on one of our project vehicles in house.

We anticipate production units will take 4-6 weeks to complete and another week shipping.

You know, hindsight is awesome... I really should've gotten in on this. If i'm not mistaken I could still order one of these, but I would not be getting the group discount rate? Is that correct?

Correct. Group discount purchasing is over. You can still purchase one at normal pricing though.



Our manufacturer is making plenty of extras this time for additional orders so it's taking a little longer then expected. I am hoping to have tracking numbers for our order any day now.

All we know is they are still being worked on with an imminent completion date. The company recently moved to a larger facility so that might be why there is a delay in getting these completed.

If someone is in dire need of one of these radiators we do still have a couple of the samples available only to the group buy participants. Contact us directly if you are interested.

Yeah I am wondering too...I don't exactly *need* one right now but I'm getting close to the point that it would be nice to see them show up, especially considering I have a substantial investment in these. Just think of all the install pics I could be taking: Spirit R/Ts, Shelby Lancer, Shelby CSX, Omni GLH Turbo etc..but I am patient!

UPDATE-

Our radiator manufacturer does great work and they have been growing steadily since our initial order back in 2010. Because of their growth they were recently forced to move to a larger facility to accommodate the increase in orders. Other factors causing delays include low production numbers. You have to consider we are getting less then 50 pieces compared to other orders of over 1000.

As of this week they are fully operational and have provided us with a March 21 completion date. We will check in with them periodacally until they are done and will report back here to make sure there are no more delays.

The company manufacturing these radiators has finished moving to the larger facility but their internet is not fully set up yet. The only photographs they were able to provide so far were the attached cell phone pics. We are currently waiting on clearer ones before we give them the go ahead. We do not want to authorize shipment based on the pictures they provided so far because if they are not per our spec it's going to be a much bigger problem and delay.

Please understand that we want these here just as badly as everyone else does, but, we will not risk accepting something that does not meet or exceed our standards. The first batch we received from this company worked out great so we don't expect anything different. We are not a priority for these guys since our volume is so low. They have sequenced us in between other production runs. It won't be much longer now...
