    First Mod to the Spirit

I really hate the 90's Dodge interiors so I decided to update a little. I tried every sports car seat I could and finally decided on the srt4 seats. Comfortable and had enough support.

Decided today was the day. Pulled the seats out of the spirit and laid them side by side. The brackets are totally different. So I cut the front brackets off the spirit seats and all the brackets off the srt seats. using the rear srt brackets I bolted the back on but spread them out to fit the spirit mounting points. Then placed the spirit front brackets on the srt seat at the original mouting pad. Sheet metal screwed them in to measure for fit. Put them in the car and after a few modifications and a bit of cussing had them in. Pulled them back out and welded everything together. Took about 6 hours start to finish but well worth it imo.

The one thing I do like about the srt seats is how much lower they ride. For some reason it just feels better.

Very cool. Get the rear seat re-covered to match and you'll really have something going.
