2.5 TBI Engine needed

My 92 shadow DD has 235 000 miles and the no.1 oil ring is shot head was just replaced by me in November because of warped valve same cylinder. The engine runs fine drives 70 miles a day to work but starting to drink oil and valve is getting bad again need A good low mile complete motor or short block would prefer to hear it running Thanks

ive got a good running 2.5 im pulling out of my car here soon to put my new motor in. im about 5 hours north of you however... if you drive like me about 4 hours tho

What's a 'warped valve'... That's a new one on me and I've had over 200 2.2/2.5 mopars over the years

cracked and warped exhaust valve it happens because the oil ring is broke and the oil in the cylinder gets on the hot exhaust valve and damages it

that's a burned valve.

I've been building engines for over 30 years, at least 10 2.2/2.5's per year... and I've never had a failed ring cause a "warped" valve.

I am open for suggestions second head second valve same no 1 cylinder saturated with oil even runs smooth as a kitten for six months until it burns out and starts skipping again but uses oil

Cant arm chair internet solve your problem with all the facts and ability to utilized all my trained senses.. in otherwords, I'd have to see this one in person do make a proper, rational and pragmatic diagnosis.

I just want to say Brett is a GREAT guy to do business with I went a long way to pick up this motor and I am so happy it runs awesome it is so quiet that you only hear the alternator bearings I did not know how to post this in the Positive section.this is my work car it now runs better than my T1 spirit and that's saying a lot since it is babied a lot.He is working on his hybrid and I can't wait to do more business with him he will go far and be successful
