I guess it will come down to what i find a good deal on. Shadow would be the cheapest choice. I could go with a daytona but id rather have a quest than a tona. Shadow has the unexpected sleeper idea written all over it where the tona looks like it should at least be fast.

omni would be the best choice imo, how involved is that swap? I assume it will just drop in but i havnt actually looked into it.

P-body is the way to go imho. Just the right amount of sleeper. I surprise alot of people with my shadow ( when it's running ) and it's not even fast yet.

i know that feeling, it was the quickest car around in high school until the rich kids got their money and bought subarus and stuff in cash. Then i put a turbo on my car and beat them again LOL

I would not mind a 3000gt, i actually want one REALLY bad but we are talking big money to take one and mod it to where I want it.. id be further ahaid with an EVO at that point.. Thats why i did not mind doing a cheep bare bones build on the shadow.. i found that i actually have the ability to take it to the point that it is at now and continued to throw money at it and now im at the point where its now or never pick something.

you can make turbododges look good too, dont get me wrong. I wish i had a pic of turboshads 2.4 shadow, his car is clean.

droooling over the BC coilovers right now.. might just buy them, stick with the turbododge platform and swap them into whatever shell i find.

i need to sell my baby to get them though, thats to much money for me to just dip into the bank account for...

anyone wanna buy a luxe for $820 shipped ? lol

Either that or just wait for a tax refund..... BC's are def far and away our best bolt on option anymore and Rich is a super cool guy to boot. Honestly if i didn't already have a couple daytonas i would go shadow for sure. Not sure how hard an omni swap would be....probably no harder than anything else....minus the whole 4-lug thing which guys have swapped as well. If you do jump ship I'd personally go EVO but then again...i'll probably never jump ship so thats all just a pipe dream. I was going to buy a set of BC's and get rid of my bilstein coilovers that i made but then i bought a set of DJ's control arms

im really liking the BC or DCs whatever they are. $600 for the fronts isnt bad when its pretty much as good as it gets when your talking about coil overs.

Koni inserts are a great option as well. The BC's are a complete package though and i like how they lower the car without reducing the spring travel.

i just like the idea of new. I have driven a shadow with koni and eibach all around and was not impressed. alot of the guys on this site dont know what its like to drive a civic or a wrx that is decked out in nice suspention parts.. the shadow was no were near as nice of a ride.. and by nice i mean tight handling with no body roll.

that same shadow was a cammed 3.0 with 10:1 pistons and all of eds port work from the plenum to the heads.. it was fast. I drove it while my motor was torn apart and it made me get back on the road twice as fast.

been in both civics and subees and a few eclipses and a few carmaros and other muscle cars with every suspension part u can think of on them and there is no comparing them to a td that i have even been in but none of them have ever had anything other than stock suspension parts on them.

but with that said i wish there was enough suspension parts for our car to make them handle like a slamed civic hatch with every frame brace and strut tower bar you can think of put on it and i tell you what at any speed around any bend that thing was on rails and didnt even screech a tire i couldnt even imagine if it had a good set of tires on it (he was a cheap a** and would only put used tires on it cause he went though them so quick to much motor for a daily driver lol) i loved driving that car

Yep, im hoping the coilovers will get me close enough to that status. I have no PS so road racing is not a big deal.. im just sick of letting off early in a race when im neck and neck wiith 500hp cars because my suspention was to sloppy to handle the slight turn in the road. You can see that happen in my "mexico" video against the s4 and mustang

o i know that man been there with not as much power as you lol i have really been looking for a 95 neon to swap my motor and trans in

95 cause its still a tailpipe test and i could get it still street legal and they still have a ton of parts available

neon came to mind too, not sure what i will do

On another note, how long do you think i need my AN line to go? Id like both my lines to be AN lines. Summit looks to have a nice kit but its 20ft. Its 8 AN, required by the fuel cell/pump combo i want to get through aeromotive.

Re: Sundance 6g72 "3.0 turbo build thread"(N/A DYNO SHEET pics inside)

The guy on the other site Bbonds or whatever who was in canada and was building a nice shadow had a cell with AN lines...he would know but i'd just get a tape measure out and get a rough estimate. As far as suspension goes.... I'm not really sure what you want out of your car. You can throw coilovers on it and bigger sways (adding a rear sway while your at it) but you're not going to get the same ride as a suby or evo that has crazy aftermarket. Its just not going to happen. Not saying you can't get a shadow to look good, handle good and ride decent but it's only going to get so good. Rich made a comment a while back about this. He has an M3 or 3 series BMW and theres no way you'll get a TD to ride like a beamer but again it depends on what you're after. A shadow with coilovers and swaybars, strut brace etc. will handle better than "most" things you'll find on the road. Alot of it is getting you're suspension set up right too. Going with the right spring rates for what you want to do etc. We've seen that TD can compete -Guys like Chris Still and Mike Estimach (sp?) have proved that but it does take some work, experimenting and tweaking to get it right. Luckily those guys have published alot of their findings and work.

Well if you get your front end nice and tight, you'll feel it's your back end kicking you around... so you'll want to do both in the end.. if it saves anything getting it all together now, go for it all at once, but if not, spend as much as you need on the front end now, and do the back later in the year.

Yeah.. the front wil be way to stiff for the rear. All at once i guess. Im the kind of person who wont finish it if i just get fronts to start with
