Should be a small spline if its 1990.

he doesn't have to... 1990 was the ONLY year turbo vans came with 568. and 1990 was the last year for turbo vans. and 1990 was when 568 has small spline input shaft. It's just that easy.
I have a couple of them one small and 2 large spline, but I really don't want to sell them. But I do have piles of 555's I'd just about give away.
1990 was the only year any of the 523/568 were small spline right? 89 still had the 520/555 and 91 was big spline.

It's ok that you didn't know.... only a majority of us die-hards know this. '89 turbo minis came with the 555 (reportedly sometimes only had a 2 pinion diff) and '90 turbo minis came with the 568. It wasn't until 1991 did Chrysler go to the large spline input shaft in their tannies. Process of elimination
