I have a 84 dodge daytona turbo z T1 and I recently replaced the speed sensor. Now when I come to a stop the car dies, I checked all the codes and it comes out as normal, and I checked for vacuum leaks. Any ideas on what this could be?

No, not sure how to check it? Is there a simple method?

im not saying it isnt your speed sensor still, but if the problem started after you replaced it... maybe you installed a faulty one?
Thanks, I'll check it out. It was a ststionary object when the original sensor failed. I replaced it and now it stalls out when I come to a stop. I was thinking the same thing, I may have gotten a faulty part. It would be nice if I had another one to try.
I appreciate all of your help so far.
You can test them by checking for continuity at the wiring to it. There should be continuity between the two wires 8 times per revolution if I'm not mistaken.
