1996 2.4 Voyager 5 sp manual Turbo conversion-

Hi, I am new here so plese be lenient for me I am from Poland (Europe) so I am sorry in advance for my english At the begining I would like to introduce you my Van. I have a 1996 Chrysler Voyager (short version) 2.4 DOHC with 5 speed manual tranny. It was build in Austria but I`ve bought it form Netherlands and Duch guys used to add higher roof so they could register this van as a truck - nice trick. Second roof has been installed on the old one so there is about 7,5 " space between two roofs - nice place for smuggling or good place for amps or whatever you want. Engine can run on petrol or LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) so I drive about 50% cheaper (petrol prices are going crazy recently).

    But to the point:
I`ve started my conversion from changing interior and some other stuff. Now it is time to make the engine dolly.

Here are some photos how my Van was being transformed from "naked" truck to more comfortable car.

Two years ago it doesn`t even had side windows (black) it was some epoxy thing by the way teh roof is epoxy as well

But it looks better now - T&C nose,

    17" rims,

    LX interior,

    5 speed tranny

Manual shifter - it almost doesn`t fit with T&C heat seats

And new LPG kit - FAST REG Injectors

My idea is to have multi purpose van - for shopping, family trips and for high speed fun. I would like to have arround 300HP or less so the engine can live longer.

I was thinking to use newer PT GT engine and make a swap somehow but there might be a problem with old EDZ`s PCM. Does anybody know if we can use newer engine but old flyweel and all old cam/crank position sensors and so on so old PCM can operate it?
On the other hand when using past 2001 PCM how to do the wiring to old BCM?
Standalone is solution but I want AC and other stuff operating fine.

Anyway its now time to add some HP`s so I hope you are still working on this convertion so we can exchange some experience and I wish both of us success

Hi, I am new here so plese be lenient for me
    Welcome to the forum!

First bit of advice: start your own build thread here in the project log section so that your info is easier to find, people can ask you questions, and we dont get things confused between your van and DBB mini's.

Second: COOL VAN! I have questions but id rather ask you in your own thread!

Dont push the red button. You hear me?
