55 series or 50 series tire for css wheels?

i have css wheels on my rampage and they have 60 series tires on them. the fronts rub the fenders when turning. i would like 205/50/15 tires but the ones i want come in 205/55/15 (firehawk indy wideovals). im wondering if i can get by with the 55 series or if i should go ahead and get a different brand 50 series. the tires came with the wheels and i wasn't planning on using them anyway.

How bad and where does it rub? The S-Lancer Wheels are 6.5" wide so you can also go with 225-50-15.

EDIT: forgot this is an L-body so those *may* rub too?

i may go 17's for the look...and keep the 15's for the track.
