    Alternate radiators

So since TU isn't likely to do another run, what are you guys using if you have a FMIC and you can just use a full width rad but want better cooling?

In what kind of car? I use a P body rad in an L body and never have cooling issues.

I'm using a stock parts store replacement in my SC, I just fabbed mounts to move it over enough to run the intercooler pipes around the driver's side end of the radiator. Works great. Previously, that same radiator was in my Shelby Z, with enough room on each side to run the 2.5" pipes for the NPR intercooler.

Its amazing that you thought I'd likely have one and I forgot that I did. Dur. That would likely work fine. I would just rather someone else get use out of my TIII rad/IC and I'll fab something up.

I don't remember if I had to fabricate mounts to put it in the Daytona or not, but I'm fairly sure I only had to move one hole for the bottom bumpers and it dropped right in.

I've also got a factory radiator out of an '88 Shadow and a stock replacement out of an '85 Daytona *with metal endtanks* if you're looking for any trades . . .

Edit: If this is going into the GTC, the P-body radiator will be a lot closer to the correct height and mounts, but the one I have is pretty old. It didn't leak when I pulled it, but it's been in a box on the shelf since '05. The '89-older radiators were about an inch or so taller.

I'm using a T1 GPHK rad i my Horizon. Moved over enough to allow room for intercooler plumbing to pass next to it on the driver's side. Had to make room by relocating the alternator to where the A/C compressor would be.

    Re: Alternate radiators

I've got roughly an inch between my alternator and endtank with the L-body radiator. 2 1/4" pipe was the biggest I could safely fit through the other side without rubbing or cutting the support.

    Re: Alternate radiators

No but now that I know there may be a metal endtank radiator I can buy...

I suppose I could use the TIII rad, just thinking it will look a little odd with 1/4 of the length just missing...
