Recently completed project for a friend of mine. 86 GLHS. Vehicle was disassembled 16 years ago and was recently brought to me to put back together. 5 weeks later she flies again for the first time in ages.

Huh, reply with quote button not seeming to work for me. Thanks Randy. AJ, yes it does have a few tricks under its stock appearing skin. Your close, but underestimating (lol). Very rare non-production 4 bolt main block. Notice the CB webbing & fuel pump cutout in pic. Steel crank, TD pan with baffles and windage tray, fully ported +1 head with matching intake and exhaust manifold, forged slugs sticking WAY out of hole, rod shifted 3.50 FD hybrid a555 with Quaife, Rev-Lock, 50 trim w/stage II wheel, 3" exhaust, +40's, etc. At least 18 PSI, Owner subscribes to "walk softly and carry a big stick" mantra. Another rendition of the GLHT I sold Jessie. Looks like just another 14 second car... but it's not.

WOW! Wonderful work.
Putting AC back in?
Great stuff for great cars! Poly engine mounts and bushings at: http://www.polybushings.com
Thanks Johnny,
Yes AC is going back in. The owner is doing that. He does HVAC work for a living. I installed the HVAC box and condenser, and he is finishing the rest of AC.

A couple of pics of my GLH at MoparFest last month.... Still need to learn how to take pictures....

New door seal!
http://www.americanmuscle.com/door-w...-kit-7993.html
^ I did new door seals on RedBox this weekend too, I had trouble keeping the seal from folding/kinking at the top next to the hard 90 degree turn at the B pillar. I see yours kinked there too I'm wondering if theyre gonna leak there.

Thanks Harry. Ordered two sets. AJ, maybe razor blade/clip a pie slice out and super glue the joint?

Hey the quote button is working for me again, yay. Thanks for the kind words. This vehicle tested the owners and my patience. Between the unusual engine, the rod shifted hybrid 555, all the suspension, fuel, wiring, brakes, cooling, HVAC, parts scrounging, & paint work, it took a while to do. The days of going to your local parts store or salvage yard for whatever your missing, are sadly over. I'm glad the owner can finally reap the benefits of seeing the project through it's powertrain completion. Now it will provide him the motivation to finish the interior restoration and paint work. Many other owners would have thrown in the towel a long time ago and cut their losses, so kudos to him for seeing it through to fruition.
