    Crossover shaft seal

Factory part number 4446285. According to the local dealership is discontinued, no dealerships with inventory and there is no aftermarket cross compatability at this time. Not even Napa could find something in their massive 6" thick book of oil seals.

    Critical dimensions: .880 OD, .515 ID, .235 tall/thick.
    1994 Shadow Sedan. 2.2 N/A, A568 400,000 miles. "the science experiment"
1987 Shelby CSX #418. Long term rebuild and restore ?

    I'm lookin'

These people claim they can supply anything... no catalog...
    http://www.bergmanspecialty.com/oil_seals.htm
Prolly have minimum order, might need a group buy.

Then there's this sort of thing that might be adapted..
    www.hitechseals.com/includes/brochure/vseals.pdf

Then I notice you can get nylon and kevlar washers in those diameters, which might have me sandwiching sheet viton in between a few, and globbing it all together with sealant.
