Your factory speed sensor should work fine as long as the wires are in good shape. Their location makes them really prone to damage from oil, heat, salt, and just about everything else that wiring shouldn't be subjected to.
the factory one for the charger is a cable
you need it , works better with it , but you can run without it with no big problem , there is some speed sensor that have cable and electric output
cool thanks. ill probly just go with out a speedo for now.
why? just swap over the speed sensor out of the old trans, it wil fit no problem and keep everything the way it is supposed to be.
All of the speed sensors have an electric output, whether or not the car has a cable driven speedometer.
All sds sensors have a 2 or 3 wire plug. Its whether or not is has a cable or not.
Charger guy, just run the stock cable. Its easy and it will work fine.
thanks guys, i found one with both to use
out of the two i had one has a cable and one has a plug in for wires. neather have both like the one i have now
