89 Shelby Daytona rear disc vented or solid?

I have a customers car (89 Shelby Daytona) here for a bad master cylinder. I changed the master, bleed everything and still had the same problem. Bleeding it again, I noticed solid rotors in the back and the pistons are extended really far out. It has new looking pads. I'm thinking the guy that owns it put pad and rotors on it himself not too long ago. Anyway I wanted to confirm if they had had solid or vented? My GTC had vented. Thanks

Mine has solid not crossdrilled or slotted if thats what you mean. They do have the open slots between the inner and outer rotor contact surface.

Both of mine were vented.

Ok figured it out. I was right he put solid rotors on a vented rotor car. The difference is solid rotors are on 14" and 15" wheels and vented(one with holes in middle) is 16" wheels. The pads don't completely sit on the wrong rotor . Anyway problem solved!

I can easily see how that would happen. It's really hard to get the right disks and pads for the Daytona Shelbys unless you know what you need. The parts places always say they have them for a big brake car and then the solid disks show up when the parts arrive. Very frustrating sometimes.

For Shelby Daytona, I don't know.

For my 89 Daytona Shelby, it was vent disc all around.
