i converted my car to automatic so i no longer need it. clutch was purchased approx. a year ago from tu. was in the car for roughly 3,000miles. it is the big disc with large splines. i never had any problems with it. $350 + shipping($360 + shipping if using paypal).
great clutch! one to have! although this one looks to not had enough break in time..

not sure what that is supposed to mean bill. this clutch had about 600 miles of normal driving put on it before it ever saw any boost and even when it did it was only 13psi.
My purple 4 puck saw a break in of two 11 second passes before it was hammered with about ten 10 second passes in one afternoon. I'm sure Rob's is just fine. :-)
yeah theres no real break in for ceramic. either it holds or it doesnt!!!
maybe its just the light in the picture? but it really looks like that the pressure plate burned up from getting too hot? can you get a better picture? and close up of the disc? thanks
yeah the presure plate just looks like it got a bit hot. nothing that wont clean up. im still interested, although was looking for small spline for my CSX.. good backup for my t3.

believe me juggy, it held. it saw a few 20psi blasts right before the diff got messed up and performed flawlessly.
i'll try to get better pics up tonight if i have time, if not then i'll get them tomorrow. just so you know bill and anyone else interested, this pp does NOT have the tiii crank sensor clearance option on it since i do not run the stock crank sensor on my car. i'm assuming that you would just have to grind a few notches on the outer edge of it for it to work, but i would contact chris to be sure.
We can notch and re-balance the PP for anyone interested in this clutch. It would be an additional $50.

is this a luk or valeo pressure plate?? is this the reason why??
is there any need for a sachs PP to be modified?? or did they make a specific PP notched out for such setups???
sorry dont mean to hijack. I have no doubt in my mind it would hold. considering quite a few people have even ran the lower grade TU setups past what they have been rated for....

juggy- i'm not sure what plate chris uses for these. nor do i know what/if any other pp's need to be modded for a tiii.
i'm still trying to make it out to the garage to get some better pictures(been really hectic around the house this week). hoping to get them tonight.

No bites ? How about a better pic of the PP . I'd have to send it to chris to cut it For a TIII & resurface it if he can ( How thick are the pucks?). I'd Still be into it for about $400 after shipping back & forth but it would solve my clutch issue..
sorry i didn't even realize that you responded to the thread. the best number i can give you for the puck thickness is about 11/32". the batteries are dead on my caliper. how about we meet in the middle and go $325+shipping(will fit in a large usps flat rate box) and i'll throw in a set of arp flywheel and pressure plate bolts. here is a better pic:
I'm going to have to wait a few weeks Rob, I,m still behind financially ( went form making a grand a week three years ago to making half that now) & it's a little tougher than I thought to spend the extra money right now. The car has been sitting that long so a little while longer won't kill me...Keep me in mind but don't let me hold you from a sale..Dave.
